Often Bladder problems can be significantly improve with simple strategies but it is essential that  together we will we asses your bladder function as bladder symptoms affect each women differently.  I need to ensure I understand the complex triggers and impacts of lifestyle impacts such as bowels, pelvic floor muscles, surgeries, exercise, functional limitations like arthritis or physical disability and work impacts.  I work collaboratively with your specialist and GP medical team

  • Fluid loading and optimisation,

  • Pelvic organ prolapse management and bowel management 

  • Electrical stimulation for bladder nerve signalling issues and pelvic floor muscles

What can I do about this leaky bladder? 

The pelvic floor muscles are a tricky muscle to find and engage properly, so no wonder research shows that between 60-70% of women have difficulty using the right muscles and may even be doing an incorrect movement that can make symptoms worse.  The good news is that research also shows that rather than following information from a brochure or online, women who seek out a qualified Women’s Health pelvic floor Physio and undergo a detailed assessment and biofeedback training for 12 weeks there are significant improvements in symptoms with Prolapse, bladder and bowel function.
